Posted

“The Unmasking,” by Lynn C. Miller, is a murder mystery set at the secluded Oso Grande Lodge in Silver City, New Mexico. Did the dean of liberal arts embezzle university funds? Did his estranged wife have anything to do with his death? After all, she inherited $3 million. There’s also a kidnapping and a disappearance. And, you’ll learn about Gertrude Stein, Edith Wharton, Mabel Dodge Luhan, Virginia Woolf and other remarkable women.

Miller, who lives in Albuquerque’s North Valley, will discuss the book during a Zoom presentation by Readers of the Purple Sage of the Sage Branch of The Branigan Library. It will be held 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 22. Send an email to sagelibrary@las-cruces.org for a Zoom invitation.
