I hear quite often from the readers of the various publications we put out. Occasionally, someone sends me something they wrote, and I find it thoughtful and extremely well written. When that happens, I will often publish it because, at the end of the day, this is your magazine.
We love getting your photos and your scheduling items, but we also love your stories. I am considering including a history section in Desert Exposure that goes beyond the histories we’ve been excerpting from the official history of Silver City, and dives into your memories.
I’d love to have you tell me about your Silver City, or your southern New Mexico if your story didn’t talk place specifically within the confines of Silver City. As we consider our options, your stories will lead us to stories we can share, and we might just ask for your permission to publish it the way you wrote it.
