Railroad Museum has holiday events throughout December

The Las Cruces Railroad Museum (LCRM), 351 N. Mesilla Ave., will celebrate winter and the holidays with events throughout the month December.

There is no charge to visit the museum and no need to pre-register for any of the events, the City of Las Cruces said in a news release.

Here are the December LCRM events:

  • Elves’ Workshop: 11 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Dec. 3, Wednesdays, Dec. 14 and 21. Join LCRM to make winter crafts.
  • Holiday at the Depot: 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Visit LCRM for a special evening open house.
  • Letters to Santa: Leave letters to Santa Claus in Santa’s mailbox at LCRM before Saturday, Dec. 17. Visit the museum 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, or 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Dec. 7, for help with your letters.

LCRR is open 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday.

LCRR is closest to RoadRUNNER Transit Route 4, Stop 2.
