"We had some great entries for the Contest and it was fun looking at the movies people came up with. Doña Ana County’s creativity was on full display and now it’s up the public to help us choose a winner,” said Don Gray, Director of the Las Cruces and Doña Ana County Film Office.

The competition was stiff and it was difficult to choose the finalists. This type of creative community engagement is something Film Las Cruces promises more of in the future. Out of the twenty one entries received, eleven of them came from LCPS students.

“Creative talent is alive and flourishing in our community and it’s great to see them taking advantage of opportunities like this,” said Chris Sheppard, Operations Coordinator for Film Las Cruces.

Film Las Cruces plans to upload all of the entries to their website once the contest is completed. Stay Tuned!
