Like most places, the Silver City Museum, though closed physically, is moving programs online.
There will be lectures and bedtime stories, quizzes, and activities, a virtual exhibit and an online store. The first of these can now be found on the Museum’s redesigned website at www.SilverCityMuseum.org.
Virtual Storytime will kick off via Zoom at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 3 with the Museum’s own director, Bart Roselli reading the children’s book "Alejandro’s Gift" by Richard Albert. The book won a Reading Rainbow Select Book award and tells the tale of Alejandro, his challenge of living alone in the Southwest desert, and the value of water and making new friends.
