Spring 2026 Community Conversations
The March 4 event is cancelled. Our next Community Conversations is Wednesday, April 1 at a new location for this date only, The Hearth at 1915 N Swan St., and not at WNMU.
Lunch & Learn
Wednesday, March 18 from noon to 1 p.m. at the WNMU Besse-Forward Global Resource Center, ABC Room.
The Western Institute for Lifelong Learning invites you to attend this Lunch & Learn during which Eloy Vasquez, Deputy Fire Chief/Fire Marshal of the Silver City Fire Department will cover key wildfire-related topics. During this program, he will share critical fire safety strategies, explore our local fire history, and provide actionable steps to help you stay as safe as possible.
“Unpacking Silver City” is back in stock!
After selling out of both hardcover and softcover editions, The Museum Store has been fully restocked with fresh copies. If you haven't grabbed yours yet, The Desert Exposure has been featuring the book in a monthly series, exploring it chapter by chapter with conversations with each of the authors—a great way to get a taste before you dive in. Plus, when you purchase your copy from The Museum Store, you're directly supporting your museum.
