Lois Duffy has had a studio and gallery in Silver City’s downtown historic Yankie/Texas Art District for 23 years. She paints large acrylic paintings of surreal and realistic subject matter. She studied art at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and North Adams State college in Massachusetts. Her work is included in numerous collections including the John & Mabel Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota, Florida; the Williams College Museum of Art, Williamstown, Massachusetts; the Capitol Art Collection in the State Capitol in Santa Fe and many other public and private collections.
