Las Cruces author Mary Armstrong’s latest book, “The San Augustin: The Two Valleys Saga, Book Two,” is now available on amazon.com, she said.

She is also the author of “The Mesilla: The Two Valleys Saga, Book One,” and “When the Doves Coo: A Prequel Novelette to The Two Valleys Saga.”

“The Mesilla” recently received a bronze medal in the western adult fiction genre from the Historic Fiction Company, Armstrong said.

Armstrong is also the author of a one-act play, “It is Blood,” which was performed at Las Cruces Community Theatre in 2017.

Armstrong’s books are also available at COAS bookstores in Las Cruces. In the new book, Jesus, a fictional nephew of Col. Albert J. Fountain, continues the memoir he began in book one, leading up to the 1896 murder of Fountain and his 8-year-old son, Henry.

Armstrong moved to Las Cruces from the Boston metro area in 2010. Contact Armstrong at mary@maryarmstrongauthor.com.
