Housing boom continues in Santa Teresa as new quadruplex community starts

Posted

A new private community of quadruplexes has just broken ground in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, “providing a unique opportunity for buyers to invest in the growing local real estate,” AMAR Real Estate Group said in a news release.

The community also presents housing options for employees at businesses located, or soon to be located, in Santa Teresa, which continues to be an economic driver for the state of New Mexico, with commercial and residential growth.

“More than 1.4 million square feet of industrial complexes are set for construction in the coming year, and along with it, thousands of new jobs,” AMAR said.

The Las Brisas community in Santa Teresa will feature 61 quadruplexes. Each has its own entrance, full kitchen, two bathrooms and living area, said AMAR, which is based in Santa Teresa.

“For buyers looking to invest in real estate, ‘house hacking’ presents an attractive opportunity to offset the costs of homeownership by renting out one or more units while living in the remaining units,” AMAR said. “This can be an effective way to build wealth, reduce monthly expenses and generate passive income.”

"House hacking is a smart way to get into the real estate market and start building wealth," said Dan Brown, chief executive officer of BFG, the development company behind the project. Brown has developed and built other communities in the Santa Teresa area in the last 30 years, the news release said.
