Recovery Communities of New Mexico, the Behavioral Health Planning Council, the Human Services Department, the Behavioral Health Services Division and the State Opioid Response Program, have all teamed up to organize an online effort in celebration of the National Recovery Month.

Now in its 31st year, National Recovery Month celebrates the gains made by those in recovery from addiction, mental illness, and other behavioral conditions.  We celebrate their recovery just as we celebrate improvements made by those with medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease. Each September, Recovery Month works to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the emergence of a strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and

community members across the nation who make recovery possible.

The Stronger Together New Mexico Voices and Images of Recovery Online Event we will showcase the amazing successes happening in New Mexico that build hope and strengthen those living an inspiring life of recovery.

Behavioral Health Recovery, including recovery from substance use, grief, mental illness, or other life crises will be video-celebrated with recovery stories, information segments, music performances, poetry readings, and interactive booths hosted by artists, health organizations, and recovery communities throughout the state. Resources and support information will also be highlighted during this online
interactive event.

Just like any great Festival, the Stronger Together Online Recovery Festival will have a Main Stage which is the video broadcast and an Exhibition Hall featuring agencies, artists, and organizations that want an opportunity to network and connect. Our Exhibition Hall will showcase virtual booths where Festival attendees can interact live though video chat with virtual booth representatives.
