A lot of focus on filmmakers this month, including an upcoming documentary about one of the most iconic songs ever recorded — “American Pie.” We have the back story behind the making of that film.
We also look at a local filmmaker whose work is currently on display at the Silver City Community Film Festival. That’s a great opportunity to see inside the world of independent filmmakers trying to make it in a tough industry and just beginning their journey.
One of my favorite interviews this month was with Tanishia Womack, who creates books with her sons as part of their family time. It’s a great way to connect in their home. I hope you enjoy their story.
