Agave Artist Gallery is welcoming Las Cruces artist George Holland as a new gallery member.
Holland brings many years of artistry, teaching and exhibiting to his art, the gallery said. As a potter, his work is known nationally.
Holland describes himself as a craftsman, artist, chemist and pyrologist, which are all components of a good potter, he said.
“Holland’s passion is evident,” the gallery said. “He communicates with the clay, and it comes out in the quality and excellence of his pottery.”
Agave Gallery, 2250 Calle de San Albino, in Mesilla, is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Monday.
