The Sun, traveling through Aries this month, jolts us into action, until the 19th when it moves into Taurus and we regain new footing. Aries' energy is where we individualize ourselves so that we can exist more truthfully with others. The new moon on the 5th, also in Aries, rekindles our emotional alignment as we honor our own personal path. Who are we really? Can we have meaningful relationships without existing first? The full moon in Scorpio on the 20th moves us deeper into ourselves so that we might experience the sensual beauty of this world. Let's coexist in depth.
Mercury, traveling direct, enters Aries on the 2nd and moves into Taurus on the 17th. There is nothing quite as empowering and grounding as speaking the truth. Venus enters Aries on the 5th and moves into Taurus on the 30th bringing us all more fully into reverence for the courage it takes to be ourselves, right here, inside this world. Mars in Cancer opposes Jupiter in Capricorn on the 24th as seek more balance between the inner world of feelings and the outer world where we own our power. Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius help us to move toward peaceful revolution. Pluto turns retrograde (until Sept. 9) in Capricorn on the 2nd, shifting the balance of power toward inner transformation.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) — Happy birthday, Aries! Where would we be without the leaders of individuality among us? We thank you for being so courageous and willing to be who you are. You start your new year with shifting ground beneath you. You show your great capacity for adapting to new terrain as you maneuver to find your footing on more supportive ground.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) — You take the plunge into self-indulgence, Taurus, and hey, why not? Life is full of delightful pleasures and you, more than anyone, are able to let go and enjoy whatever finds its way into your world. You can exercise restraint, but too much control is not what brings balance to you. You unfold into the luxurious.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) — You go for what you want now, Gemini. There is really nothing powerful enough to stop you, and you feel the open road ahead and let yourself step into more freedom. You are not someone who wants to be restrained and you need to be with others who allow you all the room you need to flourish unencumbered.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) — You turn to nurture your existing creations, Cancer. There are times of generation, and times when we give to the things that we have already helped bring into being. You work with the energies already in your world and carry them forward to the next level. You have planted many seeds and begin to see new signs of your past labors beginning to bear fruit.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) — Leos love love. And who can argue with that? There is no feeling quite as wondrous as love. You touch into the beauty of these emotions as you move through life now. Wherever you go, you carry this energy for others to enjoy and find pleasure in. When we feel the highest love, this is quite a magnificent place in which to find ourselves alive.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) — You work to hold your power and the peace you deserve, Virgo. There is something provocative about living in self-containment and personal liberty. From time to time, there will be those who want to challenge that right because they were denied it and have not faced those internalized shadow energies. You need only hold the light and know that their thoughts are unable to affect you in the end.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) — It may sound ironic, but Libras really do need to experience themselves apart from others in order to renew and rebalance. You can move away from even the closest people in your life and trust that it will only bring you to a greater place of intimacy. It is important to turn toward yourself even if it feels like you are turning away from others.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) — You find your strength by feeling how you hold the power to change things right in your very own hands, Scorpio. There are things you want to do that you have been waiting on others to bring about. Now you see things in a different light and doors open up for you that push upon with your own hands. Ah, that feels better. . . .
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) — There seems to be a never-ending stream of transformative experiences awaiting you, Sag. You might tend toward the lighter things, but alas, you are not allowed to choose what does not take you deeper into your own life. Wherever you are taken is worth every challenging feeling because it is leading you to greater personal fulfillment and expansion.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) — You delve into the pragmatic, Capricorn. It is the nitty-gritty details that require your attention now. You enjoy the basic level of making things happen and you apply yourself to getting things taken care of right here, in the world of the ordinary. The pleasures of the success in the simplest undertakings are rich with magic.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) — You abandon the larger obligations you carry for humanity and arrive into your private world of needs and desires and place your attention there, Aquarius. You too are deserving of all the good that you wish for others. You take time to nurture your own dreams and let the rest of the world fade into the background for a moment.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) — This is a perfect time to relax into the things already created, Pisces. The drive of this world is so outrageously unbalanced and unnatural. This is something you are acutely aware of and as you respect the truth of your perceptions, the pressure to "make it happen" dissolves away and you return to that timeless place that is your spiritual home.
