The Sun, traveling through Sagittarius this month, excites us and opens our hearts to share our personal discoveries on this shared journey of ours–until the 21st when it enters Capricorn, marking the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and the beginning of winter. Sagittarius is that place in the zodiac where we consider what we have learned and synthesize our insights into a personal philosophy. What is your wisdom? Mercury enters Sagittarius on the 8th, freeing up our voices, then moves into Capricorn on the 27th as we all feel a little more confident to express our views and share our wisdom. Venus enters Capricorn on the 11th, imploring us to create what we really and truly value and need. Mars also moves into Sagittarius on the 5th and conjuncts Jupiter on the 11th. What a powerful month this is!
Saturn in Leo turns retrograde on the 5th and will travel in this direction until April 19. There is no time like to present to reach inside ourselves for the courage to really express ourselves creatively. Uranus is in Pisces, and Neptune and Chiron are in Aquarius.
There is a major astrological event this month: Pluto, the planet representing our collective evolution, will conjunct the Galactic Center at 26 degrees of Sagittarius on the 29th, offering a profound opportunity for us to reach outward and inward to our soul-level origins so that we can evolve collectively into a more holistic place. This conjunction will reoccur in July and October 2007, then not again for 248 years. The relationship our earth has to the sun is the same as that of our solar system to Galactic Center. There is no time like the present to rekindle and reconsider our personal and collective relationship to the universe.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)–Happy birthday, Sag! The planets align to empower you now. Much of this world has been built up by minimizing the deeper value of the individual.
