The full moon in Scorpio on the 12th has us all feeling more willing to luxuriate in life's pleaures in the company of others and share our deeper selves with them. The new moon on the 26th in Gemini inspires us all to go forth and explore new worlds with open minds. Mercury, traveling direct, enters Taurus on May 5 and then moves into Gemini on the 19th. Venus, the ruling planet of Taurus, enters Aries on May 3. We must know ourselves and value ourselves in order to allow ourselves to have a phyiscal life that truly sustains us. So many of us have been so fundamentally undermined that this can sound a lot easier than it is to accomplish. Venus squares Mars in Cancer on the 23rd and then moves into Taurus on the 29th. How can we love and care for ourselves and still reach out and nurture others? We seek to balance these drives. Jupiter continues traveling retrograde through Scorpio. We are all becoming more contemplative. Saturn in Leo keeps us on track when it comes to our creations. Uranus in Pisces continues to provoke us all to align ourselves with our spirits. Neptune turns retrograde on the 22nd in Aquarius and will travel backwards until Oct. 29. Retrograde motions take us deeper into the energies—in this case, we must ask how we can all live more spiritually authenitic lives. Chiron turns retrograde in Aquarius on the 15th as we address our unhealed wounds. Pluto continues its retrograde movement in the late degrees of Sagittarius. We grow collectively into deeper, more spirtually authenic beings. Famous Taureans: Queen Elizabeth II, Leonardo DaVinci, Robert Oppenheimer TAURUS (April 20-May 20)—Happy birthday, Taurus! You shine your bright light for us all to see. So many people feel undeserving, but you teach us to grow into understanding our worth. Every living being is worthy of a life that feels stable and sustainable. As we each accept our beauty and our right to be fully alive, we magnetize to us all that we need—and you show us the way. GEMINI (May 21-June 20)—You are in your element when life is changing, Gemini. Things seem to do just that now. What is stable one minute, disappears the next. Your adeptness and flexibility teach us all a great lesson. When we go with the flow and let life take its course without interference, we find ourselves in the right place at just the right time. CANCER (June 21-July 22)—It's time, Cancer. You are ready to begin anew. Your nature is to hold onto what is familiar and find solace in the stability there. Now, you are more able to let go and move into something new. What draws you now? What feeds you? What ignites you and makes you happy? Go there. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)—You find yourself listening to the messages that life itself seems to be trying to tell you, Leo. If you let yourself feel your feelings completely, you can virtually change the possibilities. When we try really hard, life doesn't always go as we want it to. But if we feel our feelings, and process them, we can actually make the impossible possible again. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)—Nothing can stop you now, Virgo! You are a powerhouse of creative energy. You have everything it takes to get where you are going and, being a good Virgo, you take advantage of it all. There is a lot to get done and you are more than capable of pulling it off. Your energy is contagious. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)—You are steady and capable, Libra. You move through life considering everything and negotiating the endless agendas and the countless needs of others. Yet you are able to arrive victoriously in the exact location you set out for in the beginning. What an amazing capacity for focus you have! SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)—There seems to be something you are trying to tell yourself, Scorpio. Life takes strange turns and events unfold in ways that reveal things to you about yourself that perhaps you would not have otherwise seen. These revelations are soul-altering. You are born into a deeper understanding and love of self. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)—You use that great energy of yours to move and groove with others, Sag. You are able to bridge to others and find that any past friction just dissolves into thin air. Things that made you uncomfortable before now allow you to navigate your way to more balanced interactions. You know that you have integrity and this is what allows you to call forth the respect that you deserve from others. You are able to enhance the lives of all you come into contact with by simply loving and caring about others. You have love to pour forth and you do just that. Your energy is harmonious and healing. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)—You are compelled to stand your ground, Pisces. You find yourself challenged in ways that awaken you from your normal routine. You are the ultimate authority in your own life and it seems that there are people who need to hear you clarify this fact for them. ARIES (March 21-April 19)—Ah, anything is possible, and you know it, Aries! Life can seem to be leading us nowhere sometimes. But now you find that it all makes sense. There is a grand scheme and everything has a point and a purpose. You are well aware of this truth now. There is nothing quite as wonderful as those times when we feel this truth to the core of our souls.
