This month the sun travels through expansive Sagittarius (having entered this philosophical sign on the 22nd of last month), inviting us all to share what we have learned with each another—until Dec. 21 when it enters Capricorn, pushing us to make our beliefs real. There seems to be no lack of dogmas flying around these days, but now we are asked to look within and consider just what we have come to understand through living our lives. What we know personally is what we are invited now to share. The new moon on Dec. 1 will also be in Sagittarius and the full moon on Dec. 15 will be in Gemini, asking all of us to consider what our explorations have taught us. We experience life and then we synthesize what we learn and, therefore, we have something unique to offer humanity. We have two new moons this month, with the second one in Cancer on Dec. 30.

Mercury turns direct on Dec. 3 in Scorpio, setting us all free to go forward; it moves into Sagittarius on Dec. 12, helping us to communicate authentically those things that introspection has solidified within us. Lovely Venus dips into Aquarius on Dec. 15 but turns retrograde on Dec. 24, heading back toward Capricorn: We value the new, but cling tightly to what is familiar. Mars turns direct in Taurus on Dec. 9, traveling this sign until February: We are asked to take the actions necessary to meet our fundamental needs. How can we better sustain ourselves? Jupiter continues its year-long journey through Scorpio and so, we all grow a little deeper. Saturn in Leo continues its long retrograde motion and Chiron enters Aquarius on Dec. 5: How can we honor the teachings of authenicity? It is time to respect those who have gone ahead of us down this road. Chiron will not visit Capricorn again for another 50 years! Hopefully, we are all a lot wiser now when it comes to the ways that structures can wound us when they are not designed in wholistic ways. With Chiron in Aquarius we will collectively heal the wounds to our freedom in the years ahead. Uranus in Pisces frees us spritually and Neptune in Aquarius frees us collectively. Pluto in Sagittarius heads quickly toward galactic center—soul level change is in the air!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)—Happy Birthday, Sag! What brings you pleasure? The answers to this question are what will guide you in planning the year ahead. Your divinity comes forth in abundance when you are in the midst of experiences that invite you to exist in the ways that you love. What a perfect goal to launch your new year. Let pleasure be your guide.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)—There are two sides to authority: the high manifestation and the shadow side. You consider them both now, Capricorn. Who is the authority in your world? And how do you handle positions you hold over others? There is nothing more beautiful than honoring the sanctity of others when they are in vulnerable positions in our lives. Let your conscience be your guide.

AQUARIUS (Jan.20-Feb. 18)—Wisdom does not come easily, Aquarius. Knowledge is not always honored when it comes in new forms. You carry wisdom about a new world being born now. Respecting yourself and protecting your wisdom are essential. Realize that it may be a while before your truth is understood.

PISCES (Feb. 19-Mar. 20)—There is something beautiful in how sensitive people are so willing to take the high road. It takes a capacity for cruelty to do harm and not care about right and wrong. For you, the path is obvious. Virtue is the only way to go. You shine and brighten the world for us all.

ARIES (Mar. 21-Apr. 19)—You touch into the wealth of love you have within, Aries. Your capacity to know yourself gives you a rich well to draw from to give to others. Knowing yourself allows you to know others and care for them deeply. You give and you do it beautifully.

TAURUS (Apr. 20-May 20)—Flexibility is the name of the game, Taurus. You, more than most, understand the value in holding steady, but there is a downside to being inflexible. Change is in the air, and you can trust that it is change for the better. There is a higher directive at play.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)—It is OK to take a deep breath and let others come forward and give to you now, Gemini. You are always there taking everyone else into consideration and now your welfare is being considered by others. Your job is to sit back and give space to those you wish to give—and enjoy yourself!

CANCER (June 21-July 22)—You can accomplish what you wish now, Cancer. You can take on more than usual and find a way to spin your plates in ways that simply work. You are capable and you know it. There is pleasure for you in witnessing your own mastery.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)—The world is your oyster, Leo. There is the grand scheme—and your place in it. Now you find yourself able to connect to the fact that you matter and you are welcomed and wanted in this world. Who you are in your full manifestation is a beautiful sight to behold. The universe gains in wondrous ways as you exist in your totality.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)—The way out of dreariness is through the pursuit of pleasure, Virgo. You need a break and there is no doubt that you deserve one. It is sinful not to enjoy life—how is that for motivation? You deserve all the happiness that you wish for others—and now is the time to take steps in directions that hold wonderful things just for you.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)—You can make magic, Libra. Your mutability is best used to propel you forward now. As you pull your energy together and focus your intent, you are able to literally manifest what you want. Your heart is good and that allows you to trust your motives.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)—Enough is enough, Scorpio! You are ready for change—and any change will do. The holidays let you enjoy the space that uncertainty and shifting routines bring. Give yourself all the room in the world to be free and to move with ease. You have energy that demands uninhibited movement.
